Today in prayer the Lord gave me a revelation of why challenges come when you get a word from God. Luke 8:11-12 says when the word is planted in the heart, the devil immediately comes to steal that word. I saw a picture of an archangel fighting against the devil and how the battle is won. Watch this!
You get the word and the battle begins. The word will not return to God void, meaning that it cannot return from where it was sent. The Bible says the enemy immediately comes to steal that word. How can he do this? You get the word from the Lord, and feel encouraged. Then all of a sudden it is like all-hell broke loose in your home, business, and church. Did God really say? Doubt, and unbelief follow! God gave you his word and now you are in a battle! It must be birthed and then there must be faith in it for it to grow. But I am getting hit from all angels! I am under fire! The word goes into your heart, but immediately the devil comes to rip it out! Why the word? The word is how the Kingdom operates, It’s His word! The angels immediately go into battle to protect it--the battle is the Lord’s.
Now, all of a sudden the war is on, and you go sit on it. The battle is waging over that word, and you can’t see God even in the circumstances. The enemy gets louder with weapons banging in your ears. The enemy just keeps getting louder! You start talking to friends and share the news with them about all the bad that is going on. In the meantime the angel of the Lord is fighting to protect the word of the Lord. The battle continues waging for you, and then you start talking about your circumstances with negative words, including statements like, “Well the good Lord knows,” being religious. Now the battle is lost and the angel of the Lord cannot fight without your agreement. So you say a couple of prayers--because when there is nothing left to do we always have prayer, HUH! Now all of a sudden it is more about you than the word of God. You sit on it and just expect that somehow it will come to pass. Well it must not be God’s will! I must not have heard the Lord. I missed it somehow!
God places his angels in charge over the word that was delivered to you. Why don’t we pray more? We simply do not understand prayer and the significance of our prayers and how mighty they are. When you pray you are agreeing with God Himself. This is how the Kingdom operates. It is called being married to the word of the Lord. That is what Mary did when she received the word from Heaven regarding our Lord’s birth. The Holy Spirit immediately came to carry out the word along with her arrangement and agreement with it. You do not understand the significance of the word and how it is a battle, the minute you received it, you lose that battle!
Get on your knees in prayer, and cover that word in your heart. Cover it in the cleft of your heart with flesh. Where does that word come from? The throne room of Heaven! That is why the Rom. 8:34 says; “Jesus is seated at the right hand of God interceding for us,” so that the word will be sent to you in your time of need. Get the word and praise God for it. Sing like you have just received a pearl from heaven. Rejoice in faith over the word of the Lord. He is mighty in battle; the battle is the Lord’s. He is strong and mighty. He has placed thousands of angels to protect that word over you and your circumstances. Do not allow the enemy to be the only voice you hear. Your prayers are mighty--have faith!
Believe and hope in God as He’s not finished with you yet. Do not make any exchanges with the devil! He will give you doubt and fear in place of that word. Give him a big sock in the nose over your circumstances. Get ready for battle and know the battle is the Lord’s when you PRAY! If you have missed God--don’t worry, He will simply give you a bigger weapon to fight in faith with. Get revelation from Jesus, and go back into battle.
The Lord is strong and mighty in battle! (Ps. 24:8) Anyone who knows what it is to have breakthrough knows the power of prayer; the Lord is good all the time.
